Set up your AI as a PG tutor

Tell us your degree, specialty and year. You get text to paste into Claude or ChatGPT so it answers the question you asked, explains the why from first principles, and teaches all of medicine, not just your branch.

Which AI do you use?

Pick one. The teaching text is the same; the setup steps differ. You can switch at the end.

Good to know

Two pieces of text. The short global text goes into your account settings and shapes every chat. The longer project text goes into a project you make for study; it holds the full teaching rules and your specialty module.

Specialty shapes emphasis, not scope. A radiology resident asking about DKA still gets a full medical answer, not an imaging lecture. A question on HCC enhancement gets radiology depth.

Your college is context, not a ceiling. The AI is told to pitch answers by your question and what you show you understand, never by your college, city or state. Local disease patterns are used only when they matter and can be checked.

No memory of progress. Pasted instructions shape every answer, but they do not let the AI track what you have learnt across separate chats.

Modules. 40 broad MD/MS/DNB specialties have a teaching module. They are early versions under educational review. Super-specialties (DM, MCh, DrNB) get the core teaching text only for now. Course names follow the NMC and NBEMS lists; they are not a claim that every college runs every course.

Course and college lists. MD, MS, DM, MCh and Diploma courses and colleges come from the NMC college and course list; DNB and DrNB courses and hospitals come from the NBEMS accredited-seats list. If yours is missing, type it in.

Privacy. Everything is assembled in your browser. We store nothing and call no AI service. Never put patient details into any AI chat.

Educational tool, not clinical advice. Your AI can still be wrong: check doses, guidelines and university rules against the source. Spotted an error? Tell us.
